Desc: Redemption: The story takes place in the devastated southern town of the Soviet Union right after the end of the WWII. The widow of the hero-pilot shelters two derelicts in own dwelling. She steals food from the police canteen to feed them and her sixteen-year-old daughter. Indignant, the daughter reports about her mother to the police, and Soviet court immediately sends the mother to prison.
